At around 10:00 AM, we resumed start-up but the intake flow was unable to reach the Water Treatment Plant. Several observations had been made at around 10:30 AM, intake pump 2 cavitation was observed as well as intake pump 1. We decided to shut down the intake pump and concluded to replace the intake 1 pump with the newly purchased pump.
ESTIMATED TIMELINE OF ACTIVITIES:
1. Emptying intake dug well (2 hours) - 2:00 PM (Estimated Time of Completion)
2. Replacing Intake 1 pump (1 hour) - 3:00 PM (Estimated Time of Completion)
3. Termination of Electrical Wiring for pumps (1 hour) - 4:00 PM (Estimated Time of Completion)
4. Testing and Commissioning of pumps (1 hour) - 5:00 PM Estimated Time of Completion)
5. Build up sedimentation level then start up at Booster pump (3 hours) - 8:00 PM Estimated Time of Completion)
Hopefully, by 8:00 PM, we can resume our WTP operations. The provided timeline of activities is conditional. This may change depending on the time of completion of every activity. No worries, we will do our best to compress the estimated time of completion at it’s earliest. We request your patience and understanding on this matter. This is to inform you that at exactly 6:00 AM today, we have conducted an EMERGENCY PLANT SHUTDOWN in our Malingin Water Treatment Plant due to the ongoing tracing of a leak in our IPS pipeline.
Our team is currently working on troubleshooting and will immediately work on repairs once the leakage is traced. The EMERGENCY INTERRUPTION will last until FURTHER NOTICE. We will keep you posted for updates.

CPG NORTH AVENUE PIPELINE PROJECT UPDATES
Richli Water would like to inform the public that concrete pouring on the second half of the road cut at Lower Sto. Niño Street corner CPG North Avenue was done on September 25, 2024.
This portion will be closed from September 25 to October 09 to make sure that the concrete is cured properly and the desired strength is met. Removal of traffic safety devices will be done on October 10, 2024, during which the full width of the road can be used by the traveling public. Until then, traffic disruption will still be experienced in the area.
We request everyone to bear with us during this time.
